About this video:

I use Wistia instead of Youtube. It only plays in HD and the HD is better quality than Youtube IMO. You can listen to the audio right n the video. I can post the actual wav files too if anyone is interested.

How they were recorded.

Voiceover was recorded with a Nuemann TLM 102 into Pro Tools with Apogee conversion at 48k. All tracks normalized to -2db.

Acoustic Guitar was recorded with a Nuemann TLM 102 into Pro Tools with Apogee conversion at 48k. All tracks normalized to -2db.

Distorted Guitar was recorded with a Shure SM-57 miced very slightly off center but pretty much right on the cone, into Pro Tools with Apogee conversion at 48k. All tracks normalized to -2db. Guitar used was Gibson Les Paul 57 Historical Reissue tuned to drop C with Ernie Ball Heavy/Light strings. Head was Bogner Uberschall Rev Blue. Cab was Mesa Recto Cab.

The Full Mix was simply the same guitar tracks, with an extra tracks played and hard panned. The drums are Superior Drummer and bass was Music Man Stingray just DI. We over compressed the bass but didn’t think is was relevant to the shootout so we didn’t go back and fix it.
